We all know that ubuntu is much sexier than other(atleast for me) OS, Even though it is sexier you may be bored of seeing that default boot screen for months and years. So, in this "How to" we will focus on how to change ubuntu boot secreen. I can guarantee that the procedure is much easier than windows.
Here, Plymouth theme uses a theme framework to display the background or animation or the both, so its not possible to add a wallpaper(like in changing ubuntu login screen) to your boot screen, but the ubuntu repository comes it self with several good boot screens(Plymouth themes) which you can install.
Requirements:
- Ubuntu OS
- 5 minutes of you valuable time.
Step #1: Open up your terminal and enter the following command.
Step #2: Now use this command to get a list of themes to select.
That's it from now you can enjoy your brand new boot screen.
